Welcome to the Kelso Cougars website!
The "Cougars" are the first introduction to rugby for Primary School age groups and are fully integrated into the Kelso Rugby Club set-up. The emphasis is on FUN whilst providing a solid and progressive introduction to the fundamentals of the game. Coaching methods comply with Scottish Rugby Union (SRU) guidelines and all staff are vetted by the Scottish Child Protection Agency.

01/02/2012 - Race Night
On Sat 18th Feb it's the annual race night with tickets a bargin at £10. This is always a great night full of fun and laughs and it's one of our biggest fund raisers that helps with day to day running costs.

21/10/2011 - Sponsored cycle ride
It's time to get peddling on Saturday 22nd October for the sponsored cycle ride to Floors. Meet in the square at 10am and remember to wrap up warm and wear a helmet! Let's have a big push to get those sponsors collected. The info sheet and sponsor form can be printed here.
21/10/2011 - Murrayfield stadium tour
A tour of Murrayfield will take place on the 3rd December 2011. All age groups can attend but Primary 1 and 2's MUST BE ACCOMPANIED BY A PARENT/CARER. The cost will be £10 per child and £15 per Adult. Please complete and return the consent form to Ivor no later than 6th November. Full details are shown on the form, first come first served!
25/9/2011 - Rugby ready course
The next Rugby Ready course at Kelso will be on the 27th of September, 6.30 to 9.30pm. It's a mini's coaches only course that all mini's coaches must complete. Register by following the link below...

24/9/2011 - Jed Tournament
It's the Jed tournament this Sunday and the bus will leave from Kelso High School car park. Primary 3-7's meet here at 9.45am this will allow us to get changed and have a small training setion before the tournament starts. Primary's 1 & 2 will train at Poynder Park at 10am as normal.
24/9/2011 - Sponsored cycle ride
On Saturday 22nd October 2011 it's the sponsored cycle ride to Floors. The info sheet and sponsor form is ready for you to print off, get those sponsors in! This year will see the Primary 1 & 2's join us for the first year, all info is on the sheet.
16/8/2011 - New season begins
It's that time of year again, Mini Rugby starts again this weekend Sunday 21st August with registration and coaching. Same times this year as last year 10am to 11:30am. All players must complete the Registration Form and return ASAP to any coach. Registration remains at £20 with a weekly charge of £1 for home games & training and £2 for away games. The fixture list is on the Program page and can be also be downloaded from there. See you all on sunday.
